Every time you visit one of our stores, the Merchandising team are at work behind the scenes to make sure that you see a full range of products at attractive prices with some great offers to make sure you can’t leave empty handed. 

The team take over from their colleagues in Buying when products are fully developed and make sure we have the right amount of stock to sell at the right price, to ensure the commercial success of our ranges. Merchandising drive our promotional strategy and ensure that we manage our stock and space efficiently.

At Cath Kidston, our Merchandising team are aligned with their colleagues in Buying and also work closely with our stores and Commercial team. With worldwide responsibility they work closely with our teams in Japan, China and Hong Kong to design and deliver great solutions for all our customers.

Working in Merchandising means knowing your numbers and having a detailed, commercial understanding of our business. Because retail moves so quickly, you’ll need to be able to keep pace and respond quickly to changing situations. The best merchandisers don’t just understand the data – they use it to create insights and translate them into results you see in store.
