Why did you join Cath Kidston?

Honestly?...I was poached from another retailer.

What do you get up to on a typical day?

Analyse my store from a sales perspective and work this into an action plan for the day/week. Motivate the team. Get the girls pumped up to smash our goals and to fully be a part of it. We have the best customers and they never fail to bring something quite untypical to a typical day at Cath Kidston.

What do you love most about working here?

The people, we employ like minded individuals that fit into the Brand ethos. Our staff and our customers all complement each other. I’ve never worked anywhere quite like it, everyone is so lovely.

What’s been your biggest achievement/proudest moment so far?

Realising the potential in others, I have been amongst teams of great people without success and turning these teams around to achieve and take pride in their stores is a great feeling.

What is it really like to work here?

Fast, upbeat and fun. There are so many harsh and cold shops to work for on the high street but at Cath Kidston we are driven while retaining a sense of fun and genuine warmth this is reflected in our customers loyalty and our staff retention.

What do you think makes Cath Kidston unique as an employer?

You can talk to anyone within this company it is rare thing to find so many good and genuine people within such a successful business.

What piece of advice would you give to someone who was thinking of applying to work for us?

Be driven to succeed and prepare for a truly positive retail experience.
