I joined Cath Kidston as I wanted to work for a company that was ALL about the customer service, from being a Cath Kidston customer before I always used to go into our stores and feel happy and welcomed which is what we want our customers to feel.
Firstly to see how we have done on the previous day and what the actions for the day will need to be, working with my team to make sure they are on top of standards and replen but main focus and priority to be customers. In the morning to work on any Commercial moves in line with our sales and best sellers. And throughout the day to lead from the front and work with the team on their development.
I love the family/team feel of the business, that if you need anything you know you have people to ask and when you are doing well it is recognised which is always a great motivator. I love that we also haven’t lost our image of the Brand and people still know us for our great customer service.
My biggest achievement would be becoming a Store Manager for Harrods from working in Flagship, if you put your mind and ambition towards something and put all your effort into what you want, you can achieve it.
It really is a warm, friendly, fun and motivating place to work. With the loveliest people within the stores and rest of the business.
That we haven’t lost our story and roots, we still are proud to work for a company that started from what it did and to where we are now, Also that you will have opportunities to develop as a person while you are here.
I would say that you need to be yourself, but please always approach and have open body language and a smile on your face.
My favourite print has to be the Strawberry print from 1999, I still have my oilcloth travel bag which I use ALL the time and always get compliments. But I will always love our floral prints!
